An integrative practice for an integrated life

Taking a collaborative approach to your mental and relational wellbeing

Fresh Figs

I believe that moving toward greater wellness is a collaborative effort--because of that, I am committed to co-creating a container in which you are comfortable enough to explore the issues that feel sticky, activating, or hard.  I also believe deeply in interdisciplinary collaboration and in incorporating whole-system practices, so I maintain a referral network and incorporate body-based modalities into my work.

I am currently licensed in AR, MI, MA, NY, and PA.  I am EMDRIA certified and trained in sex therapy and attachment based somatic processing.

Please go to Learn More for my blog, where I write about my work, my relationship to this work, and how I set up my practice.

Things you might (will probably) hear me ask:

  • What shows up in your system as you notice that?

  • What is happening in your body right now?

  • Have I talked to you about [insert a concept here]...

  • I wonder what might happen if…?

  • What might it be like if…?

  • What are you noticing?

  • Who was that?  Who just said that?

  • How is that part trying to help you?

  • Where did that part learn that?

  • What does that feel like?

  • What shape does your body or energy take when...?

  • What might you do with this?

Sam:
One large change that has happened since I started working with Ramsey is that she has taught me to feel my feelings rather than talk around them. Our work has given meaning to the things I am experiencing in my body. She asks me to sit with what I am feeling, experience it, and accept what those feelings and thoughts are doing/have done for me in the past. Some questions she might ask are: where are you feeling this in your body? Does it have a weight, a shape, a movement, a sensation, a taste, a color? When I started working with Ramsey I was unable to answer any of those questions and really describe my feelings—now I can really pinpoint where they are sitting and what their qualities are”
